A bit about Kristy Janigo

 We are honored to have Kristy Janigo back as one of our honored judges at this years Trunk Show. I cannot say how excited I am to have Kristy as a part of the Express Yourself Clothing family.

A bit about Kristy: Currently, Janigo works for Target Corporate as Senior Technical Designer on the Women's-Ready-to-wear Mossimo Black Team. After working outside the company as an educator, graduate student, and self-employed freelance designer, Janigo came back to Target several months ago as Senior Technical Designer with the company.

Kristy Janigo has an impressive resume in not only the fashion industry, but within the art industry as well. From 2012 to 2014 Janigo worked at the Art Institute International Minnesota as Department Director. In addition, she worked for the Art Institute from 2011-2012. It is no wonder, with such vast expertise that we always ask Janigo to be one of our judges for our annual Trunk Shows!

She even has experience doing similar projects that our designers are going through right now! In 2011 she took part of a Clothing Redesign project and created a summer garment for her personal use. Having a judge who understands what the St.Kate's design students are going through is vital as a critique in understanding the process they went through.
